As a Frontend Developer, you work on the interfaces of our applications that users work with every day. You don't just build screens, you control how the product feels, responds, and performs in the browser.
You translate functional needs into concrete UIs and interactions that are logical, fast and consistent. You work closely with backend developers and DevOps engineers and understand what your choices mean for performance, maintainability and integration with the rest of the system.
You work with HTML, CSS, Twig, and JavaScript. We use frameworks such as HTMX, React or Vue where it makes sense, not because we have to. You consciously choose the right solution for each problem.
You are working on a product where UX has a direct impact on usage and efficiency. Small choices in interaction or structure make the difference here. That's why we expect you to look beyond “it looks good” and focus on behavior, speed and clarity.
You contribute ideas about technical designs and critically approach existing frontend code. You simplify, structure and ensure that it remains understandable and expandable.
We work in a hybrid way from Bussum or Enschede, but the team works mostly asynchronously. This means that you work independently, take responsibility and are not dependent on constant coordination.
You have strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You can independently build UIs that are robust and maintainable. Experience with Twig is required.
Experience with frameworks such as HTMX, React or Vue is an advantage. You understand when to use them and when not to use them.
You have an eye for detail and you can immediately see where UI/UX could be improved. You translate that into concrete improvements in code.
You don't accept a frontend that “works” alone. You optimize for performance, clarity and consistency.
You pick up existing code without context and make it better. Not cosmetically, but structurally.
You think in terms of components and systems, not in separate pages, and you take into account reusability and scalability.
You communicate directly and work with the backend and DevOps in terms of content to come to better solutions.
Basic knowledge of PHP and automated testing is an advantage.
At Digital Claim Solutions (DCSolutions), you are working on a product where your work is immediately visible to users. You have an influence on how the product functions and feels.
We offer a salary between €3,500 and €5,750 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on experience and level. In addition, we offer 27 vacation days and a 3-pillar pension plan through Brand New Day.
Every week, you get a 'level-up' day to work on your own development or explore new techniques.
You work from Bussum or Enschede, with the option to work mostly remotely. The method is substantive, direct and focused on quality, not on processes around the process.
Digital Claim Solutions (DCSolutions) develops platforms for dealing with personal injury claims. We help insurers accelerate processes and make them more manageable. With our self-developed solutions, we simplify claims processes, accelerate processing and improve customer satisfaction. In this way, we ensure that victims receive the help and compensation they deserve more quickly, while at the same time relieving the pressure on the care system.
Our software has a direct impact: claims are dealt with more quickly and victims get clarity sooner. At the same time, we work under strict security and privacy requirements.
