1. Introduction

DCSolutions ("we", "us", "our") handles the data you share with us with care. This privacy policy explains how DCSolutions processes, through this website, information that can be used to identify a person directly or indirectly ("personal data").

By "visitor" we mean anyone who visits our website (for example www.digitalclaimsolutions.com). By "respondent" we mean anyone who completes a form on our website, such as the contact or demo form.

Please read this policy carefully so that you know how we handle your personal data.

2. Collection and use

2.1 General
Below you can read, per group, which data we collect: website visitors and respondents to our forms.

2.2 Website visitors
If you only visit our website and do not complete a form, this section applies to you.

We may collect and analyse information about visits to our website, such as the number of visitors and visits, the time spent on the site, which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. We do not place cookies.

2.2.1 Purpose of processing
We use this data to improve our website by analysing how visitors use it, and to communicate with visitors who ask us to.

2.2.2 Sharing personal data
We may share data with service providers we engage to deliver a requested service or to analyse visits to our website. They process the data only on our instructions.

2.2.3 Cookies and visitor statistics
This website does not place cookies and stores nothing on your device. We measure anonymously how the site is used with PostHog, on servers in the EU. Your IP address is only used to create an anonymous daily counter and is not stored. We do not build profiles and do not use the data for advertising. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website.

2.3 Respondents (users of forms)
Anyone who completes a contact or download form, on our website or via an advertisement on LinkedIn, may share data that makes them identifiable to DCSolutions employees. You are responsible for the content of what you submit. We process this data only for the purpose for which you shared it.

2.3.1 Contact form
When you submit our contact form, the data you enter (name, e-mail address, phone number, organisation and your message) is delivered to us by e-mail through our e-mail service provider Mailgun (processed within the European Union) and handled by our team. The data is not stored in a database on the website itself. To protect the form against automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical characteristics of your browser and connection for that purpose. Legal basis: the steps we take at your request before entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering your message. We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than two years after our last contact.

3. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected, completed or deleted. You can also object to a processing operation or ask us to restrict it. Send your request to contact@digitalclaimsolutions.com. We respond within a reasonable period, and in any case within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

4. Retention and deletion

We do not keep data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as long as laws and regulations require. For respondents' data, DCSolutions determines the purpose of collection and the retention period.

When we no longer have a legitimate reason to process your personal data, we delete or anonymise it. If that is not possible, we store the data securely and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

5. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy when necessary. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the bottom.
