Why we do what we do

For years, the sector has accepted complexity as a given. The leadership behind the New Standard

In 2019, three individuals joined forces based on one conviction: personal injury claims must be faster, more transparent and more people-oriented. They brought their expertise together from different worlds. Born and raised in liability and insurance law, Nicolien Verhoeks knew all aspects of the claims practice and brought in the legal and human aspects. Nick Elshof and Dirk Kon, who studied together and later earned their stripes in technology and financial services, added their vision: scalable technology, operational, commercial strength and experience in building and scaling customer-focused organizations. Niet door alles overhoop te gooien, maar door wat al werkt te verbinden en wat niet werkt te automatiseren.

Vanuit verschillende werelden brachten zij hun expertise samen. Nicolien Verhoeks, geboren en getogen in het aansprakelijkheids- en verzekeringsrecht, kende alle facetten van de claimpraktijk en bracht de juridische én menselijke kant in. Nick Elshof en Dirk Kon, die samen studeerden en later hun sporen verdienden in technologie en financiële dienstverlening, voegden daar hun visie aan toe: schaalbare technologie, operationele, commerciële slagkracht en ervaring in het bouwen en schalen van klantgerichte organisaties.
