Why we do what we do

The leadership behind the New Standard
In 2019, three individuals joined forces based on one conviction: personal injury claims must be faster, more transparent and more people-oriented. They brought their expertise together from different worlds. Born and raised in liability and insurance law, Nicolien Verhoeks knew all aspects of the claims practice and brought in the legal and human aspects. Nick Elshof and Dirk Kon, who studied together and later earned their stripes in technology and financial services, added their vision: scalable technology, operational, commercial strength and experience in building and scaling customer-focused organizations.
From that mix and through several pivots, DCSolutions grew into the insurtech it is today. Our cloud platform lays a smart layer on top of any claim or policy administration system. From legacy to composable software: we bring real-time collaboration, transparency and control.
This is how we turn data chaos into AI- and data-driven success and prepare non-life insurers for the future with fast time-to-market, customization and standard solutions that feel like ownership within their organization.
